ČIČMANY
Čičmany - skiing resort suitable for less and middle demanding skiers. Accessible by car and public transport – coaches. Western orientation of downhill tracks 632 metres above sea level. Skiing period 90 – 100 days. 5 ski lifts: 135, 290, 420 and 920 metres long with elevation difference 30 – 278 metres. Their entire transport capacity is 2850 people per hour. Slopes covered with artificial snow from snow guns. For cross-country skiing there are regularly kept ski runs, 2 and 7.5 km long. The area is convenient for ski – hiking

Rajecká Lesná – 3 kilometres behind the village Rajecká Lesná in Rejeckolesnianska dolina (valley) there is a skiing resort for beginners and middle demanding skiers. Accessible by car and public transport – coaches / buses. Skiing grounds in sea level of 450 – 980 metres. Skiing period up to 100 days. Ski lifts: 630, 650 and 880 metres long with elevation difference 60 – 280 metres. Their entire transport capacity is 1400 people per hour. Slopes covered with artificial snow from snow guns. For cross-country skiing there are not regularly kept ski runs, 1 to 3 km long.

Fačkovské Sedlo – situated 2 – 3 kilometres south of the village Fačkov. Accessible by car and public transport – coaches / buses. Skiing period 90 days. There are 5 ski lifts working in the area with a slope length of 250 to 790 metres with elevation difference 50 – 260 metres. Their entire transport capacity is 2400 people per hour. Illuminated slopes and ski runs. Grounds convenient for downhill skiing, suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers. For cross-country skiing there is a regularly maintained ski run, 15 km long. The area is convenient for ski – hiking and sledge riding too.

It is also possible to get entry point tickets for 1 ride for a certain type of a ski lift chosen in advance. Using the ski lift Tatrapoma f-12 is also possible when the slope is lighted for the evening skiing. In case of interest an advanced agreement is necessary to be made.

Kunerad – situated approximately 6 kilometres far from Rajecké Teplice. The ski slope is suitable for beginners and pre-intermediate skiers. The ski lift is 350 metres long and is approximately 400 metres far from the village Kunerad.
Parking place is 200 metres far from the ski lift.
